What will the next Amazon AMZN Echo look like?
According to Engadget, the new device could take a leaf out of Apple’s APPL playbook and be more like the HomePod.
The Amazon Echo came over two years ago and has been falling behind newer competitors. The new gadget is expected to be shorter and slimmer with rounded edges and a cloth-like covering. It will also sound better with several small tweeters replacing he one large tweeter.
Prime members purchased seven times more Amazon Echo devices globally on Prime Day 2017 than during the same event in 2016, with the Echo Dot being the most popular purchase on July 11th.
