It’s a shortened week for Wall Street. On Wednesday, President Barack Obama is expected to deliver keynote remarks at a summit on extremism. Also on Wednesday, the Federal Open Market Committee will release minutes of the January meeting. On the earnings front, we await results from Waste Management (WM), MGM Resorts International (MGM), EOG Resources (EOG), Walmart Stores (WMT), Priceline Group (PCLN), and DirecTV (DTV) throughout the week. On the economic calendar we watch for possible market moving data including the housing market index, housing starts, FOMC minutes, and the weekly jobless claims.
