Apple’s AAPL newest operating system iOS 11 officially launched on September 19th, and amongst all the shiny bells and whistles the upgrade promised (a more human, intuitive Siri! A new control center and aesthetic differences! Support for ARKit, Apple’s suite of tools that lets developers create augmented reality-powered apps.) there seemed to be one bug that made the rest of the features nearly superfluous…the battery quickly drained.
Twitter TWTR users immediately and ironically took to their phones to vent about the issue, as one does when you’re left with a brick after not even touching your phone for several hours.
