May.08 — The Boston Pops is opening its 117th season at Boston’s Symphony Hall. The theme the year is the music of John Williams, who recorded “Stars Wars,” “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” and other hit movies. The Pops recorded an album of his music in a studio many concertgoers don’t even know exists.
