Shares of Square soared Thursday after reporting a 41.5% jump in quarterly revenue. The mobile payment company reported a loss of $0.08 a share, which was narrower than analysts’ predictions. Square posted revenue of $439 million for the period, which surpassed Wall Street’s expectations. The company issued a new guidance for 2016 revenue ranging between $1.62 billion and $1.67 billion. Square is also in talks to extend its agreement with Starbucks , which is set to expire in the third quarter.
