Shares of Netflix were rising Wednesday as the company continues to pursue its theatrical ambitions through a deal it signed with luxury theater-chain, iPic Entertainment. Netflix will simultaneously screen its original movies in the theaters the same day they appear on the company’s online site. Netflix will stream its original movies in iPic theaters in Los Angeles and New York City beginning next year with the option of showing at 13 other locations. Netflix did not disclose the revenue split or other details of the deal.
