May.05 — John Zimmer, co-founder and president at Lyft Inc, discusses the company’s strong first-quarter results that beat estimates across the board. Lyft expects to hit profitability in the third quarter and is spending more to recruit drivers as demand continues to rise. He also says the Biden administration’s decision to cancel a signature Trump-era gig-worker rule does not signal any major changes to Lyft’s model at the moment.
