Bed Bath and Beyond reported weaker-than-expected fiscal second quarter results on both the top and bottom lines. Earnings of $1.11 a share missed estimates of $1.16. Revenue of $2.99 billion fell short of the $3.05 billion analysts were looking for. Comparable store sales, an important industry metric, dipped 1.2 % year-over-year.
