Rite Aid shares are up after posting second quarter earnings of $0.03 a share, a penny ahead of forecasts. Revenue of $8 billion missed Wall Street’s expectations of $8.2 billion. Comparable store sales rose 2.5% year-over-year, eclipsing estimates. The company’s merger with Walgreens Boots Alliance is pending and is set to close this year.
