May.10 — General Keith Alexander, who served as the director of the National Security Agency and was the first commander of the U.S. Cyber Command, discusses the cyberattack against Colonial Pipeline Co. Alexander, founder and co-chief executive officer of IronNet Cybersecurity Inc, says the response by the U.S. government is too late and that the public and private sectors need to collaborate in the cyber space to prevent future threats. He also says he believes the Russian government “almost for sure” knows about the incident and the U.S. needs to hold it accountable. Alexander speaks to Emily Chang on “Bloomberg Technology.”
