U.S. stocks opened to the downside Monday after the S&P finished at yet another record on Friday. The pressure started overseas with bad economic news from China which reported a Feb. trade deficit of $23B, missing expectations for a surplus of $14.5B. Meanwhile,Japan’s economy expanded by an annualized 0.7% last month, also missing estimates. On today’s economic docket, Fed Presidents Evans and Plosser will be speaking. Finally, McDonald’s is down after reporting lower global same store sales.
