European stock markets are little changed on Wednesday ahead of news from the Federal Open Market Committee on monetary policy that will hit the wires after the end of the European business day. Logistics company Nobert Dentressangle surges in Paris on news of a $3.5 billion takeover deal with XPO Logistics (XPO). In the Netherlands chemicals maker DSM concocts a gain after promising higher full-year earnings but in Belgium, food retailer Delhaize, the company behind the Food Lion and Hannaford chains in the U.S., slumps on a disappointing first-quarter bulletin.
