The winning Powerball ticket was sold at a gas station in Los Angeles County owned by Joseph Chahayed, a Syrian immigrant who says he came to the U.S. more than 40 years ago searching for a better life. With the prize money for selling the winning ticket, Chahayed hopes to share the money with his family.
