Red Hat will announce quarterly earnings on Thursday. The company has delivered positive earnings surprises in all of the last four quarters with an average beat of 15.6 percent. Analysts have high hopes looking for a return of $0.37 cents a share on nearly $400 million in revenues. Red Hat continues to gain market share and its Linux servers are well positioned to compete with Microsoft’s Windows servers in the enterprise market going forward.
