The US Justice Department sent subpoenas to Nvidia and other companies as it seeks evidence that the chipmaker violated antitrust laws, an escalation of its investigation into the dominant provider of AI processors, according to people familiar with the investigation who asked not to be identified because the discussions are private. Vanderbilt Law School Professor Rebecca Allensworth joins Ed Ludlow and Caroline Hyde to discuss on “Bloomberg Technology.” Nvidia later said it has been in contact with the government agency but hasn’t been subpoenaed.
