For Wednesday October 21, we’re going to see a lot of financial reports from large companies ranging from aerospace to technology. We start off the day with Coca-Cola (KO), Boeing (BA) and EMC (EMC), along with General Motors (GM), Kimberly Clark (KMB), Biogen (BIIB) and Credit Suisse (CS) coming out with their latest quarterly report before the opening bell. Then, after the market close, we hear from a handful of other companies, including American Express (AXP), Kinder Morgan (KMI), Las Vegas Sands (LVS), and eBay (EBAY). When Coca-Cola comes out with its third quarter fiscal 2015 earnings results, analysts are calling for $0.50 a share on revenue of about $11.5 billion. Both the company’s top and bottom line are expected to drop compared to the same period the year before. There are several economic reports to look out for. First, we get the MBA mortgage applications at 7 a.m. Eastern, followed by the weekly oil inventory data. Then at 1:30 p.m., Federal Reserve governor Jerome Powell is set to speak in New York.
