For Friday July 31, TheStreet takes a look at the notable companies releasing their earnings reports as well as key economic data to watch on Wall Street. On the earnings front, we get quarterly earnings results from oil companies Exxon Mobil (XOM) and Chevron (CVX), along with Royal Caribbean (RCL), Newell Rubbermaid (NWL), security systems company Tyco International (TYC), and data storage provider Seagate Technology (STX) before the opening bell. Exxon Mobil is scheduled report its second quarter earnings figures Friday morning. On the economic calendar, we point out the employment cost index, the Chicago PMI, and the consumer sentiment.
