The government shutdown is starting to hit the skies. The FAA is reporting delays at major airports like Newark, Denver, and Las Vegas.That’s because tens of thousands of air traffic controllers and TSA officers are still required to work without pay – and some are calling out sick.The Transportation Secretary says staffing in some areas has been cut by half since the shutdown began.
This means longer lines, delayed flights, more cancellations, and huge travel headaches.
