KITCO NEWS — The Museum of American Finance’s latest exhibit: Worth Its Weight: Gold from the Ground Up features some of the rarest treasures in history, including the world’s oldest gold coin. The exhibit also has the most expensive Monopoly set in the world, which is made entirely of gold. Kitco News got a glimpse into the many uses of the yellow metal in different industries, from science and technology to entertainment and pop culture to finance and economics. The exhibit features rare objects from 40 public and private collections as well as the work of world-renowned jewelry artist, Sidney Mobell — known for transforming everyday items into gold and jeweled artworks. The museum will be hosting the showcase until December 2016.
