Washington State has moved a step closer to selling recreational marijuana. The Washington State Liquor Control Board published the names of the marijuana retail store applicants that have made it through the state lottery. The applicants now move on to the next step of approval. The state expects to begin issuing retail store licenses by end of June or early July. Activists have become impatient with the process, but the state says it is still on track.
