For Friday, May 22 we take you through all of the notable earnings as well as some key economic data to watch on Wall Street. We get quarterly financial results from five companies including Ann Inc (ANN), Foot Locker Inc (FL), Hibbett Sports (HIBB), Campbell Soup Co (CPB), and Deere & Co (DE). Wall Street is expecting a profit of $0.52 a share on sales of $1.9 billion for its fiscal third quarter. TheStreet’s Jim Cramer, Portfolio Manager of the Action Alerts PLUS Charitable Trust Portfolio says Campbell’s Soup should buy either WhiteWave Foods (WWAV) or Hain Celestial (HAIN), because the natural and organic foods division is doing so well. On the economic calendar, we watch for the April consumer price index, and Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen is scheduled to speak on economic outlook in the afternoon.
