Director Chris Yen is hoping to make a major Vietnamese-American crime film with a Vietnamese lead. He is hoping to prove it is possible to make the indie film “Fish, Prawn, Crab” without Hollywood money. There is an Indiegogo campaign and even an open casting call for Vietnamese Americans; no prior acting experience required.
