4.8 million shares of Varonis priced at $22 at the company’s IPO, above an expected range of $19 to $21. The stock opened Friday morning and blasted off to as high as $42.02 as of 2pm ET. CEO Yaki Faitelson tells TheStreet’s Jill Malandrino the company is derived from management of big data and cyber security. In fact, by 2020, a typical company will have to manage and protect 14X more data than it does today.
