Flowserve has repeatable revenue and an inexpensive valuation which makes it a smart play on the rebound in oil, said Michael Roomberg, Senior Research Analyst at Miller/Howard Investments. Roomberg added that the pump and flow equipment producer is less volatile than other companies because it has more exposure to mid and downstream energy activity. He is also positive on Pioneer Natural Resources, saying the Permian shale producer has a fortress balance sheet that will enable it to weather the recent downturn. Finally, Roomberg is bullish on shares of Valero Energy Partners due to its potential for dividend growth.
