Federal lawsuits filed today blame Southern California Edison for two deadly wildfires. The government alleges the company’s negligence sparked the Eaton Fire and the 2022 Fairview Fire. The fires left many dead and destroyed thousands of buildings. The U.S. government is seeking more than $77 million in damages. NBC News’ Liz Kreutz reports.
