British voters go to the polls tomorrow to cast ballots in a general election that is too close to call, but will likely involve the UK’s larger parties having to make concessions to smaller parties in order to keep the government together. Bill Adams, Senior International Economist at PNC Financial Services says one of the smaller political parties is pushing for a referendum to get the U.K. out of the European Union, and another supports an independent Scotland. Regardless of the outcome, Adams sees strength in the U.K. economy and expects the Bank of England to raise rates either late this year or early in 2016.
