This is not a broken record-we are set to open firmly in record territory today. The Bank of England chose to leave interest rates unchanged. The move comes as most think the Federal Reserve will stay put on interest rates for the foreseeable future. Google ( ) is set to face more European Union antitrust charges. The Wall Street Journal and others are reporting that its advertising and shopping services have attracted more scrutiny. The European Commission is expected to issue today a so-called statement of objections accusing Google of breaching EU antitrust rules by imposing strict contractual terms with its advertising service. The countdown is on. Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is set to name his Vice Presidential choice at noon Friday in New York City. Most believe it will be either Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie or Indiana Governor Mike Pence. Producer Prices for June are released today as are weekly jobless claims. Atlanta’s Federal Reserve President Dennis Lockhart will be speaking.
