Tornadoes tear through Midwest as wildfires burn in the west

At least 5 tornadoes were reported in Illinois while unrelenting storms slammed Chicago. Meanwhile almost 45 million people are under heat alerts as dozens of wildfires continue to burn across multiple Western states. NBC News’ Angie Lassman reports.
