North Korea’s latest missile launch sparked a global selloff in equities and a safe-haven pile on Tuesday.
The reaction was extra pronounced this time around because earnings season is over, according to Andy Kapyrin, director of research at RegentAtlantic.
Kapyrin said time between earnings reporting seasons tends to cause markets to react to a wider scope of factors.
