Escalating tension in Ukraine unsettled markets in Europe this morning. Some haven stocks did better, but oil major BP was badly affected because of its holding in Russian state run Rosneft. Eurozone industrial production is a glimmer of hope, but markets are still waiting for stimulus. Meanwhile, Sweden’s Saab could buy a German-owned submarine maker.
