CAROLINE WOODS: Taylor Swift is dominating on all fronts – music, streaming, and the big screen.
Her album-debut film, Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, earned $33-million dollars domestically and $13-million internationally in just three days – a global total of $46 million dollars. AMC says it’s the first album-debut movie to top the domestic box office and the highest-grossing album-debut film ever.
And the records don’t stop there. Her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, sold 2.7 million copies on day one, marking her biggest week ever and the second-largest debut in modern history, behind only Adele’s 25 – according to Luminate.
On Spotify, she’s breaking records too. The album became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day in 2025, and the lead single, The Fate of Ophelia, set an all-time single-day streaming record.
Theaters, album sales, streaming – Taylor Swift is proving she’s a cultural powerhouse on every front.
