The man accused of opening fire outside the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner was charged with three counts in his first court appearance, including attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump. Cole Thomas Allen also faces charges of interstate transportation of weapons and discharge of a firearm during a violent crime.
