Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R., Alaska) tells TheStreet’s Joe Deaux in Houston she doesn’t believe lifting the ban on U.S. oil exports will trigger volatility in energy prices here. Murkowski says she has no interest in invoking policies that would increase energy prices and adds she doesn’t believe we’ll see price increases. Murkowski says she is prepared to introduce legislation in Congress to lift the ban if the president chooses not to, so long as it benefits the country.
