Seedance 2.5 is finally available for me to test, so I threw first-and-last frames, old Sora prompts, multiple references, voice cloning, and full video edits at it. Some results are genuinely incredible, especially the alien vlog, Robot City, and the finger-magic edit, but familiar problems like teleportation, disappearing objects, language errors, and broken physics are still here. The bigger issue is price: at the rate tested in this video, five seconds of 720p video costs about $1.15, roughly 52% more than Seedance 2.0. Seedance 2.5 is better, but the real question is whether the upgrade is worth paying that much more for every retry.
