Even with the recent pullback in stocks, the S&P 500 is likely to reach 2,800 by the end of the year, according to Sam Stovall, chief investment strategist at CFRA Research.
That would imply 3.8% growth from the S&P 500’s closing price on Jan. 2, 2018. The broad index currently stands a 2,656.
