Shares of Saleforce.com were down slightly Tuesday after agreeing to acquire startup Quip for $582 million in stock. Quip provides cloud-based software that lets users collaborate on mobile platforms and create documents. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter, pending regulatory approval.
