Shares of Salesforce (CRM) may trade higher in Thursday’s trading session, after the cloud computing company reported its latest quarterly financial results late Wednesday. The company earned $0.16 per share with sales of $1.51 billion for the quarter. Both figures topped analysts’ consensus estimates and showed an improvement compared to the same quarter a year ago. The company also raised its full-year revenue guidance. Salesforce has been a hot name following recent reports that it has interested buyers including Microsoft (MSFT) and Oracle (ORCL). The stock ended the regular session in the red, but the stock is getting a lift in after-hours trading following the earnings release. TheStreet’s Kurumi Fukushima reports in New York.
