Ukrainian officials say troops are still battling around Bakhmut, despite Russia’s claim over the weekend to have seized the city which has been a focal point of the war for months. Ukraine’s armed forces and the country’s deputy defense minister, Hanna Malyar, said fighting was ongoing in the embattled eastern city’s outskirts.
