Greek voters gave a solid ‘no’ on the referendum outlining conditions of a rescue package from European creditors. The Greek Finance Minister, Yanis Varoufakis, has surprisingly stepped down overnight over what he called “creditor loathing”. Greek banks remain closed and reports say some ATMs are running out money. An emergency summit is planned tomorrow in Brussels. Aetna (AET) and Humana (HUM) are trying to get ahead of the pack and announced a merger over the holiday weekend. Aetna will buy its smaller rival for $34 billion dollars. Shares of Chipotle (CMG) may be losing their luster, according to Barron’s magazine. It predicts a 15% to 20% drop in the fast casual chain’s stock price unless growth revives. Chipotle is dealing with rising food costs, rising healthcare costs and other expenses are hurting the company’s bottom line.
