Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., was defeated in the New York 16th district House race by Westchester County Executive George Latimer. Bowman is the first of the progressive lawmakers who call themselves “the squad” to be defeated and third incumbent to lose their seat this cycle.
