Donald Trump slammed CNN over the weekend – Literally – Sort of.
The U.S. President escalated his war of words with the media over the weekend. Trump sent a tweet on Sunday that was edited to show the CNN logo superimposed on a guy that the President then tackles and beats up.
The video is originally from Trump’s appearance at WWE WWE Wrestlemania 23 in 2007.
“It is a sad day when the President of the United States encourages violence against reporters. Instead of preparing for his overseas trip, his meeting with Vladimir Putin, dealing with North Korea or working on his health care bill, he is instead involved in juvenile behavior far below the dignity of his office,” said CNN in a statement
