The White House is doing new damage control after President Biden’s much-critizied debate performance, with Mr. Biden saying “no one is pushing me out.” But The New York Times reported that Mr. Biden told an ally he was weighing whether to drop out of the race, something the White House denied. Several new post-debate polls showed Mr. Biden losing ground to former President Trump. NBC News’ Kelly O’Donnell reports.
