Oil prices rise following reports of renewed talks by members of OPEC to limit oil production. OPEC will hold talks next month and according to the Wall Street Journal, will discuss ways to stabilize crude prices. Walmart ( ) is expected to announce it will buy Jet.com today. Bloomberg reports as part of the deal, Jet.com founder and CEO Marc Lore will lead Walmart’s online division for at least 2 years. Walmart hopes the purchase of Jet, which is said to be worth $3 billion, will help it close the gap with Amazon ( ). It’s not a good day to be flying Delta ( ). There is a system failure and Delta flights have been grounded. The airline tweeted that systems are down everywhere although it wasn’t clear if all flights were grounded. Delta says it hopes to have the problem fixed soon. A United Nations envoy on Syria will give an update to the Security Council on efforts to reach a political solution. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will give a speech on economic policy in Detroit.
