Amazon is in talks to buy luxury retailer Net-A-Porter, according to Forbes. It would be the biggest acquisition yet for Amazon but the negotiations are in the early stages and could still fall apart. The potential deal values Net-A-Porter at $2 billion euros. A deal would give Amazon exposure in the high end fashion market, which is currently lacks. Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen gives a speech today just before the closing bell. Yahoo has boosted its stock buyback program by 2 billion dollars. The additional buyback should bolster Yahoo’s position against activist investor Starboard. Restoration Hardware blames west cost port strike for earnings miss.
