MLV Co. Managing Director Michael Peterson tells TheStreet’s Joe Deaux if Crimea votes on Sunday to split from the rest of the Ukraine, it won’t freeze up oil and natural gas markets. Peterson says Russia’s involvement may boost President Vladimir Putin’s political capital, but it’s hurting the country’s economy. Peterson also says exporting LNG to Europe from the U.S. requires huge company capital investment.
