In 2022 alone, there have been nine subway murders in New York City which is triple from this time in 2019, prior to the pandemic. NBC News’ Steven Romo reports on how city officials are announcing new efforts to combat the rising crime after a video from this past weekend showed a vicious attack on a subway platform.
