DragGAN is a new AI research project that lets you click and drag images to manipulate them in seconds. It uses a generative adversarial network (GAN) to re-generate the underlying object as you deform it, rather than just warping the pixels. You can change the pose, shape, expression, and layout of various objects such as animals, cars, humans, landscapes, etc. with precise control. DragGAN can also hallucinate occluded content, such as the teeth inside a lion’s mouth, and deform shapes that follow the object’s rigidity, such as the bending of a horse leg. DragGAN can perform these manipulations in just a few seconds when using Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card.
