On Monday, Netflix announced earnings of $0.86 cents a share on $1.27 billion in revenues, beating analyst estimates of $0.83 cents a share on $1.27 billion in revenues. Netflix’s quarterly update comes at a time when the stock has been trading lower in recent weeks amid a broad sell-off of tech companies. So far in 2014, shares of the company have fallen about six-percent. Some key topics on the minds of investors included intense focus on subscriber growth and expansion details.
