Tonight: An emergency on the Goliath roller coaster at the Six Flags outside Atlanta led to evacuations from the ride and passengers having to climb a steep descent. Authorities say one person was killed at the park and several others injured. Plus, actress Selma Blair is in custody after allegedly assaulting a flight attendant. Law enforcement sources describe a series of assaults on two flight attendants, a Port Authority officer and a hospital nurse. Blair’s representatives say she experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. And federal agents carried out a search warrant on Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s home in Washington as part of a federal criminal investigation. Also, President Trump is facing bipartisan backlash to a diesel deal with Russia aimed at bringing down prices at the pump. Finally in ‘Good News Tonight’ four years after receiving a life-saving liver transplant, Victoria Yocum meets the donor’s wife and daughters before spending the day with them at Albuquerque’s Balloon Fiesta.
