MiniMax H3 is an open-weight AI video model with native audio, and I ran it locally on my own GPU to see whether it actually holds up. I test original 5- and 15-second generations, compare H3 with FLUX.3 and Wan 3.0, and look at community setups ranging from low-VRAM PCs to Apple silicon. The quality is not frontier-perfect, but getting coherent HD video and audio without credits or a subscription is a pretty wild shift.
